Does the fare change if my flight is late or traffic is bad?

No. The fare is fixed for the booking. A late flight moves the pickup; a closed highway changes the chauffeur's route; neither changes what you pay.

How does your fixed fare compare with the airport taxi flat rate?

Inside the GTA zone map, for the right-sized vehicle, the two are usually close — ours adds flight tracking, the included wait and the guaranteed vehicle class. Outside the zone map, and for trips to the airport, only the pre-booked fare is fixed.

Why don't you publish a rate card?

Where can I see airport limo rates before I book?

Is a flat rate airport taxi cheaper than a pre-booked car?

Why does my map app show a different picture?

Does the board cover the QEW to Niagara and the border?

Yes — the QEW is one of the corridors, and the border page carries the bridge waits at the other end of it.

What should I do if the board is red on my route before a departure pickup?

Nothing — the dispatcher saw it, the chauffeur has re-routed, and the pickup time on your confirmation carries the margin. If you are driving yourself, leave earlier or take the 407.

How often does the traffic board update?

Every five minutes. The page fetches the Ontario 511 event feed through our server, which caches it briefly so that the ministry's service is not overloaded.

Because it is rarely congested. It is the toll road our chauffeurs use when the 401, the 400 or the 404 are stopped, and the toll is inside your fixed fare.

Where does the 401 traffic Toronto board get its events?

The 401 traffic Toronto section, like the rest of the board, is the Ministry of Transportation's Ontario 511 event feed: collisions, closures, construction and lane restrictions, refreshed every five minutes. It is the same Ontario 401 traffic source our dispatcher watches.

Does the board show 401 road closures and winter conditions?

Yes. 401 road closures appear as full-closure events with a red badge, and highway closures 401 drivers meet in winter - typically the Milton-to-Cambridge section - show there first. Can I check 401 east traffic right now before leaving for a flight?

Does the board show Canada US border wait times for every Ontario crossing?

It shows the Canada US border wait times for the US-bound direction at the Ontario crossings CBP reports: the Niagara bridges, the Windsor-Detroit crossings, the Blue Water Bridge at Sarnia and the Thousand Islands Bridge. Canada-bound waits are published by the CBSA.

Are Blue Water Bridge wait times usually shorter than Windsor?

Not always, which is why the board lists both. The Blue Water Bridge at Sarnia is the route from London and south-western Ontario to Michigan when Windsor is slow, so the chauffeur compares the Blue Water Bridge wait times with the live Canada US border crossing wait times at Windsor before committing.

How current is the Detroit Windsor tunnel wait time?

The Detroit Windsor tunnel wait time is refreshed with the rest of the board from the CBP feed. The Rainbow Bridge wait times and Lewiston bridge wait times on the Niagara frontier come from the same source, so the crossings can be compared like for like.

No. The decision is made on time, not cost; the toll is inside the fixed fare, so the chauffeur has no reason to sit on the 401 to save it.

How much does the 407 cost per kilometre in 2026?

Between about $0.50 and $1.19 per kilometre for light vehicles depending on the zone, the direction and the time of day, plus a $1 trip charge; the operator's rate chart gives the exact rate for each zone and time band.

Is there a charge if I don't have a transponder?

Can I request a specific car?

Tell us at booking; for a photograph or a film shoot we will confirm in writing what is available. For an ordinary transfer the class is what we guarantee.

Do you have wheelchair-accessible vehicles?

Folding wheelchairs travel in any class; the SUV and the Sprinter take larger equipment and mobility scooters. Note the requirement at booking and the right vehicle is assigned without extra charge.

Can trips be billed to a traveller's own card but still reported on the account?

Yes. Individual trips can be charged to the traveller's card for reimbursement while still appearing on the account's monthly report, for organisations that reimburse rather than pay centrally.

Do you sign preferred-supplier agreements and NDAs?

Yes, on request, for accounts whose travel or procurement policies require them; the insurance certificate and licensing record are provided for the policy file.

Is there a fee or a minimum for a corporate account?

No. The account is free to open and carries no minimum; the fixed fare is the same one a private traveller pays. The account exists to remove the paperwork.

Can our executive assistants book directly?

Yes. Bookers are set up under their own reference, see their own trips, and receive the confirmations; the invoice shows who booked what.

What appears on the monthly invoice?

Every trip with the date, traveller, booker, cost centre, pickup and drop, flight number, vehicle class, chauffeur and fare, exportable for travel-management systems.

Do confirmations show the chauffeur and the vehicle?

Yes — on the day, every confirmation carries the chauffeur's name, mobile number and vehicle plate, the record a duty-of-care policy asks for.

Can the account book hourly and group vehicles?

Yes. Roadshows and site tours by the hour, Sprinters and coaches for delegations and conferences, and FBO pickups for corporate aircraft — all on the same invoice.

Can we set a vehicle standard by traveller grade?

Yes. Decide once — directors in the Premium Sedan, teams in the SUV — and every booking inherits it; overrides are a line in the notes.

Can I get a receipt with the tax shown?

Yes — the engine emails a receipt with the fare and taxes itemised for every booking, and corporate accounts receive a monthly invoice.

How do you keep the fare fixed when traffic or tolls change?

The engine prices the risk of the road across a year of trips; on any one night the fare is the fare, and the toll, the extra hour on a closed QEW or a late flight is ours. The alternative moves that risk onto the passenger, and we do not.

Who writes the guides and route pages?

The people who drive the routes, meet the flights and cross the bridges; every figure is checked against the operator's own page and linked to it, and corrected when it changes.

Do you use rideshare drivers or subcontractors in Ontario?

No. Ontario and the United States are our own fleet and our own chauffeurs, every one named on the confirmation. Other provinces and countries use vetted network operators, and the page says so.

Is this a directory or an operator?

An operator. We run our own fleet across Ontario and into the United States, and we are members of the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network, through which clients are met by vetted operators in other provinces and countries.

Do you publish prices?

The reservation engine quotes a fixed fare for your exact address, date and vehicle class before you book. We do not publish a zone rate card, because a table rounds addresses and hides fees; the engine does neither.

Are your chauffeurs licensed for airport pickups?

Yes — every chauffeur holds the commercial licence and the GTAA's pre-arranged pickup registration, and every confirmation names the chauffeur and the vehicle plate.

Do you have reviews?

We do not publish invented reviews or star ratings. Our clients are the corporate accounts, universities and hospitals that rebook; ask us for a reference.

Where are you based?

At Toronto Pearson, with a base in Mississauga; the service runs 24 hours across Ontario, the United States and, through the network, worldwide.

Which memberships do you hold?

LimousineWorldwide.Directory and LimousineAssociation.International; the standards are on the network page.

Do you list other operators on this site?

No — this is an operator's site, not a directory. The directory is LimousineWorldwide.Directory, linked here; we are listed in it.

Do the memberships change the fare at Pearson?

No. The reservation engine quotes the Toronto legs as it always does; the memberships extend the service abroad and commit us to a standard, and neither adds a line to the fare.

How long does a network confirmation take?

Usually the same business day for the major cities and within two for smaller ones; the written confirmation with the operator's name and the fare arrives before you pay, and nothing is charged until it does.

How is a network leg priced and paid?

Quoted in the local operator's currency and converted to Canadian dollars on the written confirmation at the day's rate; paid to us and invoiced by us; tolls, airport fees and waiting included on the same basis as at Pearson.

What happens if a network operator fails to show?

You call the number on the confirmation — ours — at any hour, and we resolve it with the operator and, where needed, source a replacement; the association's channel is used for any failure afterwards. It is why the single contact matters.

Can I book a network leg without booking a Pearson leg?

Yes, for existing clients and corporate accounts; for a first booking we ask that the Toronto legs run through the engine so that the account and the contact are established.

Are Ottawa and Montreal network legs or your own fleet?

Ottawa is within our own long-distance range and quoted as such; Montreal and Quebec City are served through listed operators, confirmed in writing, or as a long-distance run from Toronto on request.

Which travel partner handles flights and hotels?

BookingWorldwide.net, linked at the bottom of every page — a separate service with its own engine, and the one we use ourselves for the rest of a trip.

Can you arrange a chauffeur for me in another country?

Yes — through the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network, in 59 countries. The booking is confirmed in writing before departure with the operator's name, the meeting point and the fixed fare, and the invoice comes from us.

Is the driver abroad your employee?

No — a vetted operator listed in the directory, confirmed for the booking. Ontario and the United States are our own fleet; every other province and country is a listed operator, and every page says which.

What do the association's standards cover?

Licensing, commercial insurance, vehicle inspection, chauffeur conduct, transparent pricing and duty-of-care records — the things a passenger cannot check from the back seat.

Do you hold awards or ratings?

No, and we do not claim any. The memberships are operational commitments, not decorations.

What is BookingWorldwide.net?

Our travel-desk partner for flights, hotels, resorts, activities, packages and car rental — a separate service linked at the bottom of every page.

Can I verify your membership?

Yes — both organisations list members publicly at the links on this page, and for corporate accounts we provide the insurance certificate and licensing record on request.

Can I pay cash?

Bookings on the engine are paid by card on its secure page; corporate accounts are invoiced. Cash is not handled in the vehicle, which keeps the chauffeur's day simple and the fare on the confirmation the only figure.

Can I add a stop to a transfer?

Yes — a stop added at booking is priced by the engine; for several stops or waiting between them, an hourly booking is the cleaner format and we will say so.

How do I know the chauffeur has my flight number?

It is printed on the confirmation. If it is wrong or missing, reply to the email or call and it is corrected before the day.

What is the best way to reach you at 3 am?

The phone. It is answered by a person at every hour, and a change to an early pickup is confirmed back in writing immediately.

Can I book for someone else?

Yes — put the traveller's name and mobile on the booking and your own email for the confirmation; the chauffeur's board shows the traveller's name and the day-of details go to both.

Do you take same-day bookings?

Yes, by phone or email until the last car is assigned; the early-morning departure bank is the busiest hour and the one to book the evening before.

What if my confirmation email hasn't arrived?

Check the spam folder, then call — a booking without a confirmation is one we want to verify before the day.

Do you speak French?

Yes — bookings are taken in English and French, and for a guest arriving without either we will assign a chauffeur who shares their language where we can.

Is there a walk-in office at the airport?

No. Every booking is by the engine, phone or email; the meeting point at the airport is inside the arrivals hall, described on the pickup page.

What are your hours?

Twenty-four hours, every day, for reservations, changes and the chauffeurs. The phone and the email are both watched around the clock.

How do I change a booking?

Reply to the confirmation email or call the number on it. Flight changes are free; class and address changes are re-quoted by the engine and confirmed in writing.

What if I can't find my chauffeur at the airport?

Call the chauffeur's mobile on your day-of confirmation and they walk to you; or wait at the pre-arranged desk (Terminal 1) or the baggage-claim exit (Terminal 3), where the chauffeur will find you by name.

How do I open a corporate account?

Email the company name, billing contact and first bookers; the account is open the same day with no fee or minimum.

Can I see the fare before I commit to anything?

Yes. The reservation engine shows the fixed fare before you enter any payment details — enter the trip and read the figure; nothing is charged until you confirm.

Where is lost property held?

At our Mississauga base, for collection or courier at cost. Email with the booking reference and a description.

Do you carry the vehicle's paperwork for the border?

Yes — every vehicle carries the registrations and insurance for both countries, and the chauffeur carries the operator's cross-border authority; passengers carry only their own documents.

Can you pick up in the United States and bring me to Toronto?

Yes — from Buffalo, Niagara Falls NY, Detroit and any US address, with the chauffeur meeting you inside the airport's baggage hall or at your door, Canadian customs on the way back, and the fixed fare quoted before you book.

Can a limo from Toronto cross into the United States?

Yes — a licensed cross-border operator with the registrations and insurance for both countries can, and we do daily. Rideshare drivers generally cannot carry passengers across the border.

How long does it take from Toronto to Buffalo airport by car?

About two hours including a normal border wait via the QEW and the Peace Bridge; longer on Friday afternoons and holiday weekends. The live border board shows the current delay.

Do you go to New York City and Boston?

Yes, as fixed-fare long-distance bookings of eight to ten hours, usually in a Premium Sedan or Luxury SUV, often with an overnight stop the chauffeur plans with you.

Are bridge tolls and US tolls included?

Yes. The bridge toll, US highway tolls and the border wait are inside the fixed fare quoted at booking.

What documents do we need?

A valid passport, NEXUS card or another CBP-accepted land-entry document for every passenger including infants, a visa or equivalent where required, a PR card for permanent residents, and a consent letter for a child travelling with one parent.

What happens if a passenger is refused entry at the border?

The trip ends at the crossing for the whole vehicle and the fare is due; that is why the chauffeur checks documents at pickup.

Which crossing do you use to Detroit?

The 401 to Windsor and the Ambassador Bridge or the Gordie Howe International Bridge, then I-94 to Detroit Metropolitan; the tunnel for downtown Detroit.
