Pearson Airport to Best Western Hotels in Ontario
Best Western has more doors across Ontario's mid-sized cities than almost any other brand, and its guests are the practical travellers: the airport-strip overnight, the family week in Niagara, the contractor in Brampton, the hockey parents in Kitchener. Every one of those doors is a fixed fare from the Pearson curb; this page is the drive to each.

Which Best Western hotels can a Pearson chauffeur take me to?
All of them. Best Western's Ontario portfolio runs from the Premier and Plus hotels on the airport strip — Carlingview Drive and Dixon Road, ten minutes from the terminals — through the Roehampton in midtown Toronto and the North York, Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton, Kitchener-Waterloo and Guelph properties, to the Best Western hotels near Clifton Hill and the Falls in Niagara. Enter the hotel as the drop-off and the reservation engine fixes the fare for that address and vehicle class; curbside pickup at Pearson is included and meet and greet inside the terminal is a paid add-on.
Best Western is a membership of independently owned hotels rather than a single chain, which is why the doors vary — a glass tower on the airport strip, a low-rise beside a highway exit, a converted inn in a small town — and why the chauffeur's knowledge of each one matters more than at a brand with a standard porte-cochère. Our chauffeurs know which Best Western in Niagara has the drop-off on the side street, which one in Brampton shares an entrance with a restaurant, and which airport-strip hotel's shuttle stops at 11 pm.

The airport Best Westerns
The Best Western Premier Toronto Airport Carlingview Hotel and the Best Western Plus Travel Hotel Toronto Airport on Dixon Road are the two guests ask for most: eight to twelve minutes from either terminal, with shuttles on a loop that serves the pre-arranged shuttle stops at Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. The airport-strip hotels route explains where those stops are and when the loops thin out; a chauffeur is booked for the family with a stroller and six bags, the 1 am arrival, the guest with a mobility aid, or the traveller whose evening is downtown rather than on Dixon Road.
| Area | Best Western hotels (examples) | From Pearson | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Airport strip | Premier Carlingview · Plus Travel Hotel (Dixon Rd) | 8–12 min | Shuttle loops; chauffeur after hours and for families |
| Midtown Toronto | Roehampton Hotel & Suites (Mount Pleasant) | 30–40 min | Yonge & Eglinton; quiet residential door |
| North York | Plus Toronto North York | 25–35 min | Highway 401 and the 404 corridor |
| Mississauga · Brampton · Oakville · Burlington | Plus Mississauga · Brampton · Oakville · Burlington | 15–45 min | Corporate and contractor stays; QEW and 401 |
| Hamilton · Kitchener-Waterloo · Guelph | Plus and Premier properties | 45–80 min | McMaster, the universities, the tech campuses |
| Niagara Falls | Plus Fallsview area · Cairn Croft · Clifton Hill hotels | 90 min | The Falls, Clifton Hill, the casino |
Hotel names change as owners renovate and rebrand; the engine prices the address, so the current name on your Best Western Rewards confirmation is all the booking needs.
Midtown, the suburbs and the university towns
The Best Western Roehampton at Mount Pleasant and Eglinton is the midtown choice — thirty to forty minutes from Pearson via the 401 and Mount Pleasant, a quiet residential door, and a ten-minute walk to the Eglinton subway and the shops of Yonge and Eglinton. The Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville and Burlington properties are the corporate and contractor hotels along the 401 and the QEW; the Mississauga hotels route covers the closest of them. Hamilton's Best Westerns serve McMaster and the hospitals on the Pearson–Hamilton route; Kitchener-Waterloo's serve the universities and the technology campuses on the Kitchener-Waterloo route, and hockey tournaments fill them every winter weekend.
Niagara: Clifton Hill and the Falls
Best Western's Niagara hotels sit around Clifton Hill and the Fallsview district, a short walk from the Falls, the casino and the attractions; the Pearson-to-Niagara route is ninety minutes down the QEW and the chauffeur knows each hotel's drop-off — several are on side streets off the Hill, and the private Niagara tour picks up at the same door the next morning for the Parkway and the wineries.

From the hotel: attractions, stations and the working day
Attractions. From the airport strip: Woodbine racetrack ten minutes, Canada's Wonderland twenty-five, the CN Tower and the waterfront thirty. From the Roehampton: the ROM and Yorkville ten minutes south, the Ontario Science Centre fifteen east, the Toronto Zoo thirty-five. From Kitchener: the St. Jacobs market and the Stratford Festival, forty minutes west. From Niagara: the Falls at the door and Niagara-on-the-Lake twenty-five minutes down the Parkway.
Stations and the other airports. Union Station is thirty minutes from the airport-strip hotels and fifteen from the Roehampton for VIA and the UP Express; the GO stations at Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville and Burlington are ten minutes from their Best Westerns; Kitchener's VIA/GO station is ten minutes from its hotels. Billy Bishop is thirty to forty minutes from the strip and the midtown hotels; Hamilton airport is fifteen minutes from Hamilton's Best Westerns and forty-five from Burlington's; Buffalo is forty minutes from the Niagara hotels for a cheaper US fare.
City tours. A chauffeured half-day from any GTA Best Western covers the waterfront, the Distillery District, Yorkville and Casa Loma; from Niagara, the Parkway and the wineries; from Kitchener, St. Jacobs and the Mennonite country. Booked by the hour with the car at every stop.
Company meetings and contractor weeks. Best Western's corporate guests are the project engineers, sales reps and contractors working across the 401 and QEW corridors; a day of site visits from Brampton to Oakville is an hourly booking, and a standing weekly car to the airport goes on the corporate account.
Booking the transfer
Enter the hotel's name or address as the drop-off with the flight number, the date and the vehicle class; the fare is fixed for that door and shown before you pay. Sixty minutes of waiting are included on international arrivals, thirty on domestic. Add the return to the correct terminal on the same booking through the departures page.
Booking through the hotel or booking direct
Most Best Western hotels will call a local taxi for a guest and the airport-strip properties run shuttles; both are fine for the traveller who did not plan the airport. Booking direct before you fly gives a fixed fare on the confirmation, a pickup tracked against the airline's live arrival, curbside collection at the GTAA pre-arranged area included, and — for the contractor or the sales rep on a weekly rhythm — a standing booking that repeats without a call. The UP Express serves the downtown Best Westerns well enough for a solo traveller; for the suburban and out-of-town properties it is not an option, and the chauffeur's fixed fare to Brampton, Oakville or Kitchener is the comparison against a metered cab.
Tournament weekends and the hockey bag
Ontario's winter is hockey tournaments, and Best Western's mid-sized hotels in Kitchener, Guelph, Hamilton, Burlington and Brampton fill with families whose luggage is a hockey bag per child plus the sticks. The vehicle question is settled honestly on the fleet page: a family of four with two hockey bags needs the luxury SUV; two families travelling together need the Executive Sprinter; a whole team with equipment needs the mini coach, which the group shuttle arranges on a manifest from the Pearson curb to the hotel and the arena. The Kitchener-Waterloo route and the Pearson–Hamilton route have the winter timing for the 401 and the QEW, and the chauffeur checks Ontario 511 before a Friday-night departure in February.
The small-town Best Westerns
Beyond the GTA, Best Western's Ontario map is its most useful feature: Cobourg, Peterborough, Barrie, Orillia, Owen Sound, Collingwood, Belleville, Kingston, Brockville, Cornwall, Sarnia, Chatham, Windsor, North Bay, Sudbury. All are fixed-fare addresses from the Pearson curb, priced as long-distance transfers by distance; the Barrie route and the Muskoka route cover the Highway 400 corridor north, the London route the 401 west. A late international arrival with a room in Peterborough or Kingston is the classic use: the chauffeur meets the flight and the passenger sleeps.
The departure: from the strip and from the suburbs
From the airport-strip Best Westerns the departure is ten minutes and the question is only the hour: a 6 am flight means a 4 am pickup, when the hotel's shuttle may not be running, and the chauffeur is at the door at 3.55. From Mississauga, Brampton and Oakville the drive is fifteen to forty minutes and the chauffeur plans backwards from the check-in cut-off explained on the departures page, adding the 401's or the QEW's morning habits from the live traffic board. From Kitchener, Hamilton and Niagara the departure is the route fare in reverse, and the terminal finder settles the door at the far end.
Best Western hotels: questions answered
How far are the airport-strip Best Westerns from the terminals?
Eight to twelve minutes by car, on Carlingview Drive and Dixon Road. The hotels run shuttles to the terminal stops; a chauffeur is booked for late arrivals, families with luggage, or a guest heading downtown.
Does the fare depend on which Best Western I choose?
It depends on the address and the vehicle class, not the brand. The airport-strip hotels price lowest; midtown and the suburbs by distance; Niagara, Hamilton and Kitchener as their route fares.
Hotel names on Best Western change — will the booking still work?
Yes. The engine prices the address, so enter the name on your confirmation or the street address and the fare is fixed for that door.
Do you drive to the Best Western hotels in Niagara Falls?
Yes — about ninety minutes on the QEW as a fixed fare, with the chauffeur knowing each hotel's side-street drop-off around Clifton Hill.
Can you collect a hockey team at Pearson for a Kitchener tournament weekend?
Yes — a manifest of arrivals, an Executive Sprinter or mini coach with the equipment, and the arena runs on an hourly block, invoiced once to the team manager.
Is the Best Western Roehampton close to the subway?
Yes — a ten-minute walk to Eglinton station. From Pearson it is thirty to forty minutes via the 401 and Mount Pleasant.
Is meet and greet included on a hotel transfer?
Curbside pickup at Pearson's pre-arranged area is included in every fare. Meet and greet inside the arrivals hall with a name board is a paid add-on.
Can a contractor set up a weekly car from a Best Western to the airport?
Yes — standing bookings at the same day and time each week, the same chauffeur where possible, and one monthly invoice on the corporate account.
Do you drive to Best Western hotels in Peterborough, Kingston or Barrie?
Yes — every Ontario address is a fixed fare, priced by distance as a long-distance transfer beyond the GTA; the Barrie, Muskoka and London route pages have the corridor timing.
Which vehicle fits a family of four with two hockey bags?
The luxury SUV. Two families together need the Executive Sprinter; a whole team with equipment takes a mini coach on a manifest.
Do you offer city tours from the airport-strip Best Westerns?
Yes — a chauffeured half-day into the city covers the waterfront, the Distillery District, Yorkville and Casa Loma with the car at every stop, and returns to Dixon Road for the evening.
Is the fare to a Best Western in Niagara the same as to a Fallsview tower hotel?
Yes if the addresses are close — fares are fixed by address and vehicle class, not by the hotel's rating.
What if the hotel shuttle is running — should I still book a chauffeur?
For one traveller with a carry-on at 2 pm, the shuttle is fine and we say so. Book the chauffeur for the arrivals the shuttle was not designed for: a family with a stroller and six bags, a 1 am landing, a passenger with a mobility aid, a group of twelve, or anyone whose evening is downtown rather than on Dixon Road.
Do you serve the Best Western hotels in Guelph and Cambridge for university visits?
Yes — both are on the 401 west, seventy to eighty minutes from Pearson as fixed fares, and parents visiting the University of Guelph or the Cambridge campuses often keep the car for the day.
Can you collect me from an airport-strip Best Western at 4 am?
Yes — early pickups from the strip are routine, with the chauffeur at the door five minutes early and the drop at the correct departures door.
