Pearson Airport to Hyatt Hotels in Toronto
Two of Toronto's best-known hotel addresses are Hyatts: the Park Hyatt at the corner of Bloor and Avenue Road in Yorkville, and the Hyatt Regency in the middle of King Street West's theatre and restaurant row. This page is the transfer to each — the route, the door, the timing and the fare.

Which Hyatt hotels does the Pearson transfer cover?
The Park Hyatt Toronto in Yorkville, the Hyatt Regency Toronto on King Street West, and the Hyatt Place hotels — including Hyatt Place Toronto/Vaughan near Canada's Wonderland and Hyatt Place Toronto/Mississauga Centre near Square One — plus any Hyatt-affiliated property in Ontario. The fare is fixed by the hotel's address and the vehicle class, shown by the reservation engine before you pay; curbside pickup at Pearson is included and meet and greet inside the terminal is a paid add-on.
Hyatt's Toronto footprint is small and deliberate: one grand hotel in the city's most polished neighbourhood, one large hotel in its liveliest, and a handful of select-service properties in the suburbs. The transfers reflect that. A Park Hyatt guest is usually met with the executive sedan or the luxury SUV and dropped at a quiet door on Avenue Road; a Hyatt Regency guest lands in the middle of King West on a Friday night and needs a chauffeur who knows which lane to use.

Park Hyatt Toronto: Yorkville, by the museum
The Park Hyatt stands at Bloor Street West and Avenue Road, opposite the Royal Ontario Museum and a block from the Yorkville boutiques, with its rooftop bar looking south over the city. The arrival is on Avenue Road, where the porte-cochère is set back from the traffic and the door staff are used to cars that wait. From Pearson the drive is the 427 south, the Gardiner east and then north through the city on Spadina or up Avenue Road — about thirty-five minutes off-peak, an hour in the evening rush when the chauffeur will often take the 401 east and Avenue Road south instead, which the live traffic board decides. The Park Hyatt draws the guests who book the hourly chauffeur for the visit: a day of Yorkville, Bay Street and a dinner, with the same car and chauffeur that met the flight.
Hyatt Regency Toronto: King Street West
The Hyatt Regency Toronto sits on King Street West between the theatre district and the restaurant strip, a block from Roy Thomson Hall and the TIFF Lightbox and a short walk from the financial towers and the Rogers Centre. Its drop-off is on King Street, which is a streetcar corridor with restricted car access along parts of its length — the reason a chauffeur who knows the King Street rules matters. The drive from Pearson is the 427, the Gardiner and then Spadina or York up to King: thirty minutes off-peak, longer during TIFF in September when the King Street closures reshape the whole block. The downtown route page compares the chauffeur with the UP Express — from Union, the Hyatt Regency is a ten-minute walk with luggage or a second cab — and the Pearson complete guide covers the arrival itself.
| Hotel | Where | From Pearson | The door |
|---|---|---|---|
| Park Hyatt Toronto | Bloor St W & Avenue Rd, Yorkville | 35–60 min | Avenue Road porte-cochère; executive sedan or SUV |
| Hyatt Regency Toronto | King St W, theatre district | 30–50 min | King Street door; streetcar corridor rules apply |
| Hyatt Place Toronto/Vaughan | Jane St at Highway 7, Vaughan | 25–35 min | Near Canada's Wonderland and the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre |
| Hyatt Place Toronto/Mississauga Centre | Near Square One | 20–30 min | Airport Road / Highway 403 |
Hyatt Place: Vaughan and Mississauga
The select-service Hyatts are where families and project teams stay. Hyatt Place Toronto/Vaughan on Jane Street at Highway 7 is the closest hotel of its kind to Canada's Wonderland and to the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre subway terminus; from Pearson the chauffeur runs north on the 427 and east on Highway 7 — or uses the 407 when Highway 7 is slow — in twenty-five to thirty-five minutes. Hyatt Place Toronto/Mississauga Centre near Square One is twenty to thirty minutes west, on the same logic as the other Mississauga hotels. Both see a lot of luxury-SUV bookings: a family with a stroller and a week of luggage does not fit a sedan.
World of Hyatt members and the corporate account
Globalist members who book the Park Hyatt and the Hyatt Regency alternately, and companies whose travellers do the same, put the transfers on a corporate account: monthly invoicing, the traveller's name and cost centre on each line, and an assistant booking under their own reference. Sixty minutes of waiting are included on international arrivals and thirty on domestic, the pickup follows the aircraft, and the return to the correct terminal is added on the same booking through the departures page.

Which vehicle, honestly
For one or two guests to the Park Hyatt, the executive sedan is the right car and the one the hotel's doormen see most. For a couple with skis or golf clubs, or three colleagues with carry-ons, the luxury SUV. For a wedding party staying at the Hyatt Regency for a King West reception, the stretch limousine or the Sprinter for the group. The fleet page gives the seat and bag counts; the reservation engine offers the class that fits what you enter.
The Annex, the museum and the walk
The Park Hyatt's neighbourhood rewards walking — the Royal Ontario Museum across the road, the Gardiner Museum beside it, Philosopher's Walk down to the university, the Yorkville boutiques behind the hotel — and guests who arrive by chauffeur often do not need a car again until the airport. The exceptions are the evenings: a dinner on Ossington or in Leslieville, a Leafs game at Scotiabank Arena, a client at a King West restaurant. Those are the moments an hourly booking or a single evening transfer earns its keep, and the event transportation page explains how the game-night pickup works at an agreed door rather than a rideshare zone.
Late-night King West
The Hyatt Regency is in the middle of the city's busiest evening strip, which is a pleasure at 8 pm and a logistical question at 1 am, when King Street West between Spadina and Bathurst is full of people and the taxis are full. Guests arriving late at Pearson — a delayed transatlantic flight into Terminal 1 at midnight — are met curbside, or inside with the meet-and-greet add-on, and driven to the King Street door by a chauffeur who knows which lane the hotel's doormen keep clear. Sixty minutes of waiting are included on the international arrival, thirty on domestic, so a slow customs hall costs nothing.
Families at the Hyatt Place hotels
The Vaughan and Mississauga Hyatt Place hotels see families with a specific shape: two adults, two or three children, a stroller, luggage for a week and a plan that involves Canada's Wonderland or Square One. The luxury SUV is the vehicle — the accessible and family page explains the child seats fitted before pickup at no charge — and the Executive Sprinter for two families together. The drive from Pearson to Vaughan uses Highway 7 or the 407; the chauffeur chooses by the live picture and the toll, when used, is inside the fare.
The fare, and what it includes
The fare to any Hyatt is fixed by the address and the vehicle class, shown before you pay: the chauffeur, the vehicle, tolls, taxes, curbside pickup at the pre-arranged area and the included waiting. Meet and greet inside the hall is the one add-on, priced as a line at booking. Gratuity is never added. A cancellation before the chauffeur is dispatched is free; the terms page has the exact windows. For Hyatt guests arriving from the United States by road rather than air, the cross-border page covers Buffalo and Detroit pickups to the same hotels.
Booking through Hyatt or booking direct
Hyatt concierges arrange airport cars, and a Park Hyatt doorman will find one at any hour. What booking direct before you fly adds is the fixed fare on your confirmation, the flight-tracked pickup that moves with a delayed arrival, curbside collection included in the price, and one booking that carries the arrival, the Yorkville evening and the return to the right terminal. For World of Hyatt members who alternate the Park Hyatt and the Hyatt Regency, it also means one account and one contact. The UP Express is the honest alternative for a single traveller with a carry-on bound for the Hyatt Regency — twenty-five minutes to Union and a ten-minute walk — and we say so; it is not the answer for the Park Hyatt, which is a further subway or cab from Union, or for anyone with luggage.
Two guests, two hotels, one week
A pattern from the Bay Street law firms: a visiting partner at the Park Hyatt and an associate at the Hyatt Regency, both landing at Terminal 1 on Sunday evening on different flights, both due at the same office on Monday. Two pickups, tracked against two flights, two doors, one corporate account and one invoice line each — and on Friday, two cars to the departures level timed to two check-in cut-offs. The engine handles it as two bookings; the account handles it as one relationship. The Pearson complete guide is the page to send the associate who has never landed here.
From the hotel: attractions, stations and the working day
Attractions. The Park Hyatt is opposite the Royal Ontario Museum and beside the Gardiner Museum of ceramics; Yorkville's galleries and the Bata Shoe Museum are a five-minute walk, Casa Loma a five-minute drive, the AGO ten. The Hyatt Regency is in the theatre district — the Princess of Wales and Royal Alexandra theatres, Roy Thomson Hall and the TIFF Lightbox are within two blocks — with the CN Tower, Ripley's Aquarium and the Rogers Centre ten minutes on foot. From the Hyatt Place in Vaughan, Canada's Wonderland is five minutes and the Vaughan Mills outlets ten; from the Mississauga Hyatt Place, Square One is at the door and the Living Arts Centre beside it.
Stations and the other airports. Union Station is ten minutes from the Hyatt Regency by car — the chauffeur uses York Street to the Front Street doors — for VIA trains to Ottawa, Montréal and Kingston and the UP Express to Pearson; from the Park Hyatt it is fifteen minutes south. Billy Bishop is ten minutes from the Regency and twenty from the Park Hyatt for Porter's US and Ottawa–Montréal flights. The Vaughan Metropolitan Centre subway terminus is beside the Vaughan Hyatt Place for guests who want the train into the city.
City tours. From the Park Hyatt a chauffeured half-day runs Yorkville, Casa Loma, the Annex and the waterfront; from the Regency, the Distillery District, St. Lawrence Market and the Beaches; both can be extended to a full day with the Toronto Islands ferry or the Brick Works. Guests with a free Saturday take the Niagara day from either hotel.
Company meetings. The Park Hyatt is fifteen minutes from Bay Street and five from the University of Toronto and the hospital research institutes on College Street; the Hyatt Regency is a walk from the King West agencies and the financial towers. A day of meetings across all of them is an hourly booking — the car at the door at 8.30, waiting outside each address, and back at the hotel when the dinner ends — invoiced on the corporate account.
Hyatt hotels: questions answered
How long is the drive from Pearson to the Park Hyatt Toronto?
About thirty-five minutes off-peak — the 427, the Gardiner and then north to Bloor and Avenue Road — and up to an hour in the evening rush, when the chauffeur may use the 401 and Avenue Road instead. The fare does not change with the route.
Where does the chauffeur drop off at the Hyatt Regency Toronto?
At the King Street West door. King is a streetcar corridor with restricted car movements along parts of it; our chauffeurs know the permitted approach and stop at the hotel rather than circling.
Is the UP Express a good option for the Hyatt Regency?
For one traveller with a carry-on, yes — twenty-five minutes to Union, then a ten-minute walk or a short cab. For luggage, groups or a late arrival, the chauffeur is faster door to door and the fare is fixed.
Do you drive to the Hyatt Place in Vaughan for Canada's Wonderland?
Yes — twenty-five to thirty-five minutes from Pearson via the 427 and Highway 7, or the 407 when it is quicker. The luxury SUV suits families with a stroller and luggage.
Can I keep the chauffeur for the day after checking in at the Park Hyatt?
Yes. Book the arrival as an hourly day and the same chauffeur and vehicle stay with you for Yorkville, Bay Street and dinner, with the bags in the car until check-in.
Is meet and greet included on a hotel transfer?
Curbside pickup at Pearson's pre-arranged area is included. Meet and greet inside the arrivals hall with a name board is a paid add-on selected at booking.
Can the hotel-to-airport return be booked at the same time?
Yes — add the return with the outbound flight number and the pickup is timed to the check-in cut-off at the right terminal.
Do you cover Hyatt hotels outside Toronto?
Yes. Any Hyatt-affiliated property in Ontario is a fixed-fare address; those beyond the GTA are priced as long-distance transfers.
How late can I book a pickup to the Hyatt Regency?
Any hour. Late arrivals are routine, and the chauffeur knows the King Street lane the hotel keeps clear at 1 am.
Can guests arriving from Buffalo by road be taken to the Park Hyatt?
Yes — a cross-border pickup in Buffalo or at the Peace Bridge, with passports for everyone in the car, delivered to the Avenue Road door.
Are tolls and gratuity included in the fare?
Tolls and taxes are inside the fixed fare; gratuity is never added and is at your discretion.
Can the chauffeur wait at the Park Hyatt while I check in and then take me on?
Yes — book the arrival as an hourly day, or add a short wait at booking. The chauffeur waits under the Avenue Road porte-cochère and the bags stay in the car if you are continuing to a meeting.
Can the chauffeur take us from the Park Hyatt to Union Station?
Yes — fifteen minutes south to the Front Street doors, timed to the VIA departure or the UP Express, with luggage handled at both ends.
