Pearson Airport to Marriott Hotels in Toronto & Ontario
Marriott Bonvoy runs more hotel doors in Ontario than any other group — from the Sheraton you can walk to from Terminal 3 to the JW Marriott on Lake Rosseau three hours north. This page is the transfer to each of them: where the porte-cochère is, how long the drive takes, and how the fare is fixed before you land.

Which Marriott hotels can a Pearson chauffeur take me to?
Every one of them. Marriott Bonvoy's Ontario portfolio covers the airport strip (Toronto Airport Marriott, Sheraton Gateway inside Terminal 3, Four Points, Residence Inn and Courtyard hotels along Dixon Road), the downtown core (Sheraton Centre, Westin Harbour Castle, Delta Toronto, W Toronto, the St. Regis and the Ritz-Carlton, Marriott Downtown at Eaton Centre), the suburbs (Marriott Markham, Delta Mississauga and Burlington, Sheraton Parkway Richmond Hill), Niagara (Marriott Fallsview and Sheraton Fallsview) and Muskoka (JW Marriott The Rosseau). Enter the hotel as the drop-off address and the reservation engine fixes the fare for that door.
The reason a chain matters to a transfer is the door. Every Marriott brand builds its arrival the same way — a covered porte-cochère, a bell desk inside, a drop-off lane that the chauffeur can actually stop in — which makes the last thirty seconds of the trip predictable. The pages on this site for downtown Toronto and the airport-strip hotels explain the drives; this page is about the hotels themselves, grouped the way Bonvoy members think about them.

Airport hotels: the Sheraton you can walk to, and the ones you cannot
The Sheraton Gateway Hotel is inside Terminal 3, joined to the terminal by a covered skywalk, and it is the one Marriott where a chauffeur is genuinely optional on arrival — you can walk. Where the car earns its place is the reverse: a Sheraton Gateway guest departing from Terminal 1 (Air Canada, Star Alliance) is a Terminal Link train ride and a walk away, and a guest going downtown for the day is a thirty-minute drive. The Toronto Airport Marriott on Dixon Road, the Four Points by Sheraton Toronto Airport and the Residence Inn and Courtyard hotels along the strip run their own shuttles on a loop; a chauffeur is the answer at 1 am when the loop has stopped, for a family with six bags, or for the guest whose meeting is in Mississauga rather than at the hotel. The Pearson complete guide maps the hotel shuttle stops at both terminals.
| Hotel | Where | From Pearson | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sheraton Gateway | Inside Terminal 3 | Walk (skywalk) | Chauffeur for the T1 departure or the downtown day |
| Toronto Airport Marriott | Dixon Road, Etobicoke | 8–12 min | Largest airport-strip Marriott; conference floors |
| Four Points Toronto Airport | Dixon Road | 8–12 min | Shuttle loop; chauffeur after hours |
| Residence Inn / Courtyard Toronto Airport | Dixon Road / Carlingview | 8–15 min | Extended-stay guests, weekly bookings |
| Delta Toronto Airport & Conference Centre | Dixon Road | 8–12 min | Large-group arrivals in a Sprinter |
Downtown Toronto: eight Bonvoy doors, one drive
The drive from Pearson to the core is the 427 south and the Gardiner east — twenty-seven kilometres, thirty minutes off-peak, fifty in the evening rush — and the chauffeur watches it on the live traffic board before choosing between the Gardiner and Lake Shore. The doors, west to east:
- The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto — Wellington Street West beside Roy Thomson Hall; the porte-cochère is on Wellington and the bell staff are quick. Business travellers on a corporate account are the regulars.
- Delta Hotels Toronto — Lower Simcoe at Bremner, joined to the Rogers Centre and Union Station area by the PATH; the drop-off is on Lower Simcoe.
- Sheraton Centre Toronto — Queen Street West opposite City Hall; the largest hotel in the core, with a Queen Street drop-off that gets busy during conventions.
- Toronto Marriott Downtown at CF Toronto Eaton Centre — Bay Street, joined to the shopping centre; the door is on Bay.
- The St. Regis Toronto — Bay and Adelaide in the financial district; a discreet Bay Street entrance and butler service upstairs.
- W Toronto — Bloor Street East in Yorkville; the arrival is on Bloor.
- Westin Harbour Castle — Harbour Square on the waterfront beside the ferry docks; the drop-off is the circular drive off Queens Quay, and the Gardiner exit at Bay is the chauffeur's route.
- Marriott Courtyard Toronto Downtown — Yonge Street north of College; a smaller door on a busy street, which the chauffeur manages.
The downtown route page compares the chauffeur with the UP Express and the taxi line for each of these; the short version is that the train wins for one traveller with a carry-on to a hotel near Union, and the chauffeur wins for everyone else.

Suburbs, Niagara and Muskoka
Marriott Markham on Warden Avenue and the Sheraton Parkway Toronto North in Richmond Hill serve the technology and pharma companies along Highways 404 and 407; from Pearson the chauffeur takes the 407 — the toll is inside the fare — and the run is forty to fifty minutes. Delta Mississauga on Hurontario and Delta Burlington are the west-end conference hotels. In Niagara, Marriott Fallsview and Sheraton Fallsview stand above the Horseshoe Falls with the drop-off on Fallsview Boulevard; the Pearson-to-Niagara route is ninety minutes and the chauffeur has the hotels' entrances by heart. In Muskoka, the JW Marriott The Rosseau at Minett is a two-and-a-half-hour drive up the 400 and Highway 141; the Muskoka route page has the cottage-season timing, and the resort is the most common single address on it.
Booking a Marriott transfer
Enter the hotel name or its street address as the drop-off, the flight number, the date and the vehicle class; the reservation engine fixes the fare for that exact door and shows it before you enter a card. Curbside pickup at Pearson's pre-arranged area is included; add meet and greet if you would like the chauffeur inside the hall with a name board. Sixty minutes of waiting are included on international arrivals and thirty on domestic. The return — hotel to the right terminal, timed to check-in — goes on the same booking through the departures page.
What the hotels' own transport offers, honestly
Several Bonvoy hotels sell an airport car through the concierge, and some run shuttles. The concierge car is usually a partner limousine at a fixed rate that is fair; the difference with booking direct is that you see the price before you fly, the chauffeur tracks your flight rather than waiting for a call, and the same account covers the Sheraton on Monday and the Ritz on Thursday. The shuttles are free and slow. For a Bonvoy Elite member arriving late with luggage, a pre-booked chauffeur is the version of the trip that matches the room.
Groups, conferences and the Sheraton Centre
Toronto's largest conventions fill the Sheraton Centre, the Westin Harbour Castle and the Delta with delegates who land at Pearson in waves. A group shuttle — Sprinters and mini coaches on a manifest — moves a delegation from the arrivals curb to the hotel in one movement, and the corporate account invoices the organiser once. Wedding blocks at the Westin or the Ritz work the same way through the wedding page.
The Bonvoy week on one account
The pattern we see most from Marriott loyalists is not one transfer but a week of them: landed at Terminal 1 on Monday and taken to the St. Regis; a Wednesday morning car from the St. Regis to a client in Markham and back; a Thursday move to the Sheraton Gateway for an early Friday flight out of Terminal 3, where the hotel's skywalk means no car at all on the last morning. Booked separately those are four transactions with four confirmations. Booked on a corporate account they are four lines on one invoice, the same chauffeur where the schedule allows, and a fare for each leg that was fixed before the week began. Bonvoy members travelling privately get the same continuity without the invoicing: one booking, several legs, one contact.
Choosing the airport strip or the core
Marriott has enough doors in both places that the choice is real. The airport hotels win for an early departure, a one-night layover, a conference at the Airport Marriott's own centre, or a meeting in Mississauga; the drive from the terminals is under fifteen minutes and the Terminal Link train even serves the Sheraton Gateway directly. The core wins for everything that happens downtown, and the thirty-minute drive is the price. Guests who split the difference — two nights at the Westin for the meetings, the last night at the Airport Marriott for a 6 am flight — book the hotel-to-hotel move as an ordinary transfer, and the chauffeur who did the arrival usually does it.
Luggage, vehicles and the Marriott doors
The Ritz-Carlton and the St. Regis see executive sedans and luxury SUVs almost exclusively; a stretch limousine at the Wellington Street door is a wedding, not a check-in. The Sheraton Centre and the Westin Harbour Castle take Sprinters and mini coaches at their group entrances during conventions, and the chauffeur knows which door the hotel opens for coaches. The Airport Marriott's porte-cochère takes anything. For a guest with more luggage than a sedan carries — golf clubs for a Muskoka week, skis for Blue Mountain via the JW — the fleet page shows the bag counts honestly and the engine offers the class that fits.
The Fallsview and the Rosseau in season
Two of the Marriott addresses are seasonal in their own way. The Marriott Fallsview fills for the summer fireworks and the winter Festival of Lights, and the QEW on those weekends is the variable; the chauffeur reads Ontario 511 before leaving Pearson and takes the escarpment road through Grimsby when the Skyway is stopped. The JW Marriott The Rosseau fills on cottage-country Fridays from May to Thanksgiving, when Highway 400 north of Barrie can add an hour; a Friday-evening arrival at Pearson bound for the Rosseau is usually better served by a 9 pm departure than a 6 pm one, and the chauffeur will say so.
From the hotel: attractions, stations and the working day
Attractions within a short drive. The downtown Bonvoy doors are inside the city's sightseeing map: the CN Tower, Ripley's Aquarium and the Rogers Centre are a ten-minute walk from the Delta and the Ritz-Carlton; the St. Lawrence Market and the Distillery District are a five-minute drive east of the Westin Harbour Castle; the Royal Ontario Museum and the Art Gallery of Ontario are ten minutes north of the Sheraton Centre; the Toronto Islands ferry leaves from the dock beside the Westin. Casa Loma, the Toronto Zoo and Canada's Wonderland are twenty to forty minutes and are the reason guests book a chauffeured day rather than a string of cabs. From the Marriott Fallsview, the Falls are at the door and the wine country is twenty-five minutes.
Stations and the other airports. Union Station — VIA Rail to Ottawa, Montréal, Kingston and Windsor, GO trains to every suburb, the UP Express back to Pearson — is across the road from the Royal York and five minutes from every Front Street hotel; the chauffeur drops at the Front Street doors or the Bay Street entrance for a train departure. Billy Bishop airport on the island is fifteen minutes from the Westin and the Ritz for Porter flights to New York, Boston, Chicago and Ottawa. Hamilton airport is an hour west for the low-cost carriers, and the Sheraton Gateway is, of course, inside Pearson's Terminal 3.
City tours by chauffeur. A half-day or full-day tour from any Marriott — the waterfront, Yorkville, Kensington Market, the Beaches, a stop at the Brick Works and Casa Loma — runs as an hourly booking with the same chauffeur and vehicle, at your pace, with the car waiting at every door. Guests at the JW Marriott The Rosseau book the same thing for Muskoka: the lakes, Huntsville, Algonquin Park's west gate.
Company meetings. The Bay Street firms, the King West agencies, the Mississauga head offices and the Markham technology campuses are all on the corporate meeting circuit that the hourly chauffeur was built for: the car at the Sheraton at 8 am, three meetings across the city, a client lunch, and back to the hotel — one chauffeur, one confirmation, one line on the corporate invoice.
Marriott hotels: questions answered
Can you take me from Pearson to the Sheraton Gateway inside Terminal 3?
You can walk there on the skywalk from Terminal 3, so we would only suggest a chauffeur if you land at Terminal 1 with luggage, arrive with a group, or want the car for a downtown day afterwards.
How long is the drive from Pearson to the Sheraton Centre or the Ritz-Carlton?
About thirty minutes off-peak via the 427 and the Gardiner, forty-five to fifty in the weekday evening rush. The chauffeur reads the live traffic board before choosing the Gardiner or Lake Shore.
Is the fare to a downtown Marriott the same as to a downtown Hilton?
Fares are fixed by address and vehicle class, not by brand. Two hotels a block apart price the same; the airport-strip hotels price lower than the core, and Niagara and Muskoka are long-distance fares.
Can I book the return from the hotel to the airport at the same time?
Yes — add the return leg with the outbound flight number and the pickup is timed backwards from your airline's check-in cut-off at the right terminal.
Do you drive to the JW Marriott The Rosseau in Muskoka?
Yes. It is about two and a half hours from Pearson via Highway 400 and 141, priced as a fixed long-distance fare, with cottage-season Friday timing explained on the Muskoka route page.
Can a corporate account cover stays at several Marriott hotels?
Yes. A corporate account is by traveller, not by hotel — the Sheraton on Monday and the St. Regis on Thursday appear on one monthly invoice with the cost centre on each line.
Is curbside pickup included when the drop-off is a hotel?
Yes. Curbside pickup at Pearson's pre-arranged area is included in every fare. Meet and greet inside the arrivals hall with a name board is a paid add-on if you prefer it.
Which vehicle for a family going to the Marriott Fallsview?
The luxury SUV for up to four with luggage and a stroller; the Executive Sprinter for a larger family or two families travelling together. Child seats are fitted before pickup if you tell us the ages.
Can I move between two Marriott hotels mid-stay with the same chauffeur?
Yes — a hotel-to-hotel move is an ordinary transfer, and the chauffeur who did the arrival usually does it. On a corporate account it is one more line on the same invoice.
Is the Terminal Link train an option for the Sheraton Gateway?
Yes — the Terminal Link connects Terminal 1, Terminal 3 and the Viscount station free of charge, and the Sheraton Gateway is on the Terminal 3 skywalk. It carries luggage, not passengers in a hurry.
Can the chauffeur take us from the hotel to Union Station for a VIA train?
Yes — a short transfer to the Front Street or Bay Street doors, timed to the train, with the luggage handled. From the Royal York's neighbours it is five minutes; from the airport-strip hotels thirty.
Do you run city tours from the hotel?
Yes. A chauffeured half-day or full-day tour of Toronto — waterfront, Distillery District, Yorkville, Casa Loma, the museums — is booked as an hourly day with the same chauffeur and vehicle, at your pace.
