Pearson Airport to Casino Woodbine
Casino Woodbine is the casino you can see from the runway: the Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto on Rexdale Boulevard is ten minutes from the Pearson curb, with a hotel tower, a theatre, the racetrack beside it and the largest gaming floor in the province. This page is the shortest transfer on this site — and the one most often booked as a layover, a group night and a stopover on the way downtown.

How far is Casino Woodbine from Pearson Airport?
Ten to fifteen minutes. The route is the airport's ring road to Dixon Road or Highway 427 north one exit to Rexdale Boulevard, east to the resort's entrance at the casino and hotel porte-cochère, delivered as a fixed fare by vehicle class — the lowest fare on this site. Curbside pickup at Pearson's pre-arranged area is included with sixty minutes of waiting on international arrivals and thirty on domestic; meet and greet inside the hall is a paid add-on. The reservation engine shows the fare before you pay.
The resort runs no airport shuttle, the TTC's Rexdale buses are a change and a walk, and a metered taxi for ten minutes is the one trip where the fixed fare and the taxi are close — until the return at 2 am, when the taxi rank at the casino is a queue and the chauffeur is a text. The Pearson complete guide covers the arrival itself; this page is the resort.

The resort: casino, hotel, theatre, racetrack
The Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto opened its full resort in 2023 around the old Casino Woodbine: a gaming floor with thousands of slot machines and table games, a poker room, a hotel tower with a rooftop terrace, a concert theatre, restaurants from a food hall to a steakhouse, and the Woodbine Racetrack next door where the King's Plate — the oldest continuously run race in North America — is run each summer. The porte-cochère serves the hotel and the casino from one drive off Rexdale Boulevard; the chauffeur stops there, and the return pickup is at the same door with the pickup point texted before you come out. The racetrack has its own entrance on the west side for race days, and the chauffeur uses it when the booking says the track.
The layover casino
Woodbine's ten minutes from the terminals make it the layover that Pearson's own hotels cannot offer: a traveller with six hours between an afternoon arrival and an evening departure, a crew on a long turnaround, a conference delegate with a free evening at an airport hotel. The pattern is a fixed fare from the arrivals curb to the porte-cochère, the evening on the floor or at the theatre, and the fixed fare back to the correct terminal timed to the check-in cut-off with the terminal finder confirming which — and the chauffeur can hold the luggage in the boot for the whole evening so nothing is checked at the hotel. A guest at the airport-strip hotels on Dixon Road is five minutes from the resort by car.
Group nights, birthdays and the Sprinter
The casino night for a group is the booking this page sees most: a birthday party of eight from Mississauga, a stag from Etobicoke, a corporate team from a Dixon Road hotel, a bus-tour alternative for a family reunion. The Executive Sprinter carries up to ten with the bar stocked, collects everyone from one or two addresses, delivers to the porte-cochère and waits or returns at the booked hour; the fare is one figure for the vehicle, split however the group likes, and far lower per head than the same night in taxis. A group arriving at Pearson for the weekend — a family flying in for the King's Plate, a bachelor party from Montréal — is met at the group meeting point inside the terminal and driven ten minutes on one manifest. The event page covers the theatre's concerts and the pattern for a show night.

The King's Plate and the racing season
Woodbine Racetrack's thoroughbred season runs from spring to December, with the King's Plate in August as the day the hats come out, the Woodbine Mile in September and the Canadian International in the fall; the standardbred track at Woodbine Mohawk Park in Milton is a separate address forty minutes west. A race-day booking is a chauffeured arrival at the track's own entrance, a car that waits through the card or returns for the last race, and a dinner afterwards at the resort or downtown; the corporate boxes and the owners' enclosure bring the corporate account bookings, with guests collected from the airport, the Dixon Road hotels and the city on one manifest.
From the casino: the city, the airport hotels and the return
Woodbine is the northern edge of Etobicoke, and the chauffeur is the connection to everything else: downtown Toronto thirty minutes down the 427 and the Gardiner for a guest who has landed, played and wants the city; the Dixon Road hotels five minutes away; Canada's Wonderland twenty-five minutes north-east for a family's next day; and the terminal itself ten minutes away at any hour. The return to Pearson is planned backwards from the flight, ninety minutes before a domestic departure and two and a half to three hours before an international one, and the chauffeur is at the porte-cochère at the booked minute with the luggage still in the boot.
Responsible play and the 19+ rule
Ontario's casinos are for guests aged nineteen and over, with identification checked at the entrance; a family arriving at Pearson with children under nineteen books the resort hotel for the family and the casino for the adults, and the chauffeur's ten-minute run makes the splitting of a party easy — the children to the Great Wolf Lodge or Wonderland with one parent, the other parent to the floor. The resort operates under Ontario's responsible-gaming programme and its self-exclusion rules, and the chauffeur is a ride, not an opinion.
What the fare includes
The fare from Pearson to Casino Woodbine is fixed by vehicle class and includes the chauffeur, the vehicle, fuel, taxes, curbside pickup at the pre-arranged area and the included waiting with the flight tracked. Meet and greet inside the arrivals hall is the paid add-on; gratuity is never added; a cancellation before dispatch is free; a wait at the resort is billed at the hourly rate in fifteen-minute units when the same car holds for the return.
Seniors' outings and the accessible arrival
Woodbine's ten minutes make it the casino for the outing that cannot be a day's drive: a seniors' group from a Mississauga residence, a couple in their eighties flying in to visit family in Etobicoke, a guest who uses a walker or a wheelchair. The accessible page explains the vehicles — the SUV with the raised seat, the Sprinter with the step and the space for a folded chair — and the pace: the chauffeur stops at the porte-cochère's accessible bay, brings the walker to the door, and waits inside the entrance if the guest wants a hand to the floor. A residence's monthly casino outing is a standing booking on the Sprinter with the same chauffeur and the same door, invoiced to the residence; a family's outing with a grandparent is a single fare with the extra time built in.
The show-and-dinner night: timing it
The resort's theatre runs its concerts at 8 pm and its comedy at 7 and 9.30, and the steakhouse and the food hall fill in the hour before; a show night from the city or the Dixon Road hotels is timed backwards from the curtain — the chauffeur at the door at 6 for an 8 pm show with dinner, at 7.15 for the show alone — and the pickup afterwards at the porte-cochère or the hotel entrance, whichever the resort's traffic staff are directing, with the point texted before the encore. A guest at the resort hotel who wants the city afterwards — a late dinner on King West, a club — books the thirty-minute downtown leg from the same chauffeur, and a guest at a downtown hotel who wants the show books the reverse: forty minutes up the Gardiner and the 427 at 6 pm, and the same forty back at 11.
The loyalty traveller and the standing car
Great Canadian's rewards programme moves its higher tiers between its rooms — Woodbine, Pickering, the Great Blue Heron, Brantford, Flamboro and Grand River — and a player working the province's rooms on a hosted weekend books the legs between them as fixed fares on one profile, with Woodbine's proximity to the airport making it the first and last stop. The resort's hosts book their guests' airport transfers on a corporate account with a manifest and monthly invoicing, and the guest sees a name board inside the hall and a car at the porte-cochère when they leave; the standing car for a hosted guest's weekend — the airport, the resort, downtown, the resort, the airport — is one booking by the hour and by the leg.
Casino Woodbine: questions answered
Is Casino Woodbine really ten minutes from Pearson?
Yes — Rexdale Boulevard is one exit north on the 427 from the airport, and the drive is ten to fifteen minutes at any hour. It is the shortest and lowest fare on this site.
Can I do the casino as a layover between flights?
Yes. A fixed fare to the porte-cochère, the evening on the floor or at the theatre, and a fixed fare back to the correct terminal timed to the check-in cut-off; the chauffeur can hold the luggage in the boot all evening.
Does the fare include the return?
Each leg is a fixed fare; a return is added at booking or by text on the night. A car that waits at the resort is billed at the hourly rate in fifteen-minute units.
How many people fit the Sprinter for a group night?
Up to ten with the bar stocked, collected from one or two addresses and delivered to the porte-cochère; one fare for the vehicle, split however the group likes.
Where does the chauffeur pick up after the concert?
At the porte-cochère, with the pickup point texted before the show ends; on a sold-out night the chauffeur may direct you to the hotel entrance to avoid the theatre crowd.
Is there a race-day entrance?
Yes. The racetrack has its own entrance on the west side, and the chauffeur uses it when the booking says the track; the King's Plate in August is the busiest day of the year there.
Can children come to the resort?
The hotel and the restaurants, yes; the gaming floor is nineteen and over with identification checked. Many families book the hotel and split the party — one parent to the floor, the other to Wonderland with the children — on the same chauffeur.
What about the Dixon Road hotels?
Five minutes from the resort. A guest at an airport-strip hotel books the short transfer to the casino and back at a low fixed fare, and the same chauffeur holds for the return.
Do you drive to Woodbine Mohawk Park in Milton?
Yes — it is the standardbred track, forty minutes west of Pearson on the 401, and a separate fixed fare.
Is the fare higher at night?
No. The fare is the same at 2 am as at 2 pm, and the 2 am return is the one where the chauffeur earns it — the taxi rank at the casino is a queue and the chauffeur is a text.
Do you offer a corporate account for race-day and event hospitality?
Yes. The boxes and the owners' enclosure book guests from the airport, the hotels and the city on one manifest, invoiced monthly.
Can the chauffeur wait while I check into the hotel and then take me downtown?
Yes. The wait is billed at the hourly rate in fifteen-minute units and the downtown leg is a fixed fare; many guests land, check in, play an hour and go downtown for dinner on the same car.
Can we go from the casino straight to the racetrack on a race day?
Yes — the track's west entrance is a two-minute drive from the resort porte-cochère, and the chauffeur moves the party between them and waits through the card at the hourly rate.
Do you run seniors' residence outings to Woodbine?
Yes — a standing booking on the Sprinter with the same chauffeur and the same door, the accessible bay at the porte-cochère, walkers and folded chairs in the boot, invoiced to the residence monthly.
Can a hosted player's transfers be booked by the casino's hosts?
Yes, on a corporate account with a manifest: the name board inside the hall, the car at the porte-cochère, and the legs between Great Canadian's other rooms as fixed fares on one profile.
